ASSESSMENT
We pride ourselves in not having a wait for this service. If you are interested in getting an assessment, please contact us at (306)552-7771 extension 0 or click the link below to have someone contact you
We provide a multidisciplinary approach to these assessments which includes a Registered Doctoral Psychologist and Speech-Language Pathologist. Both of our team members each have over 20 years of experience and proficiency in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorder. We perform a comprehensive multidisciplinary evaluation for complete diagnosis using evidence-based tools which will ensure not only the accuracy of assessment results but also ensure access to funding as your child ages. Our team will also ensure you understand what the results of the assessment mean to your family and provide you with the next steps; including assistance with access to funding that may be available, access to community support programs, and we will work with you to facilitate treatment interventions that meet your child’s needs.
An initial consultation is how we start all of our psychological assessments. This is a parent-only consultation which allows you the opportunity to sit down with Dr. Loutzenhiser without your child present so you can freely discuss the concerns you have. Dr. Loutzenhiser will advise as to whether an assessment is warranted. Follow-up appointments will be scheduled to complete the process which will include interviews, questionnaires, and direct assessment and observation. Finally, a follow-up parent-only meeting is scheduled to provide the results of the assessment as well as ensure access to funding and discuss next steps.
